Dr. Rufina Yakubov

Owner and Audiologist

Dr. Rufina Danilova Yakubov developed her advanced skills in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and vestibular disorders through her completion of several clinical rotations at local hospitals and private practices in New York City. She has been practicing audiology in New York City for four years. She believes good hearing healthcare starts with a quality patient-doctor relationship and has become highly skilled in fitting state-of-the-art technologies to improve her patients’ day-to-day lives.

Dr. Yakubov earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University in New York City and received her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Yakubov is a New York state-licensed audiologist and is also licensed to dispense hearing aids in New York. She has presented to university and community groups on various topics in audiology, including amplification, hearing loss, and vestibular disorder.

Dr. Rufina Yakubov has contributed to “Identifying Enlarged Vestibular Aqueduct Syndrome” article that has been published in the Advance for Audiology journal.

Dr. Rufina Yakubov is married with two children. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and reading.
